ORCA is delighted to report that we are producing a new segment on the local National Public Radio (NPR) station called, The Ocean Minute. Produced by our NPR radio partner WQCS, The Ocean Minute aims to increase public awareness about the oceans one minute at a time. The program will report clearly and concisely the state of our waters and oceans, based on knowledge acquired by world-class scientists, and providing solutions to avoid further environmental degradation. The Ocean Minute is scheduled to air on WQCS every Saturday, starting May 2012.
